The Initiative prospective Agricole et rurale (IPAR) is a think tank that aims to contribute to the positive transformation of agricultural and rural production systems to improve the living conditions of the people of Senegal and West Africa. IPAR catalyzes sustainable, inclusive, and equitable economic and social transformations through the creation of spaces for exchanges and debates based on the results of rigorous strategic and forward-looking research, closely linked to the current and future challenges of West African agricultural economies and family farms in particular.
IPAR is a member of Africa LEEPS Centre of Excellence Evidence Policy Action Initiative.
