As the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) deadline draws near, African countries are under growing pressure to develop equitable policies grounded in strong evidence. However, ensuring that evidence consistently informs policymaking requires more than just good intentions – it demands strengthened systems, tools, and shared learning across sectors.

While many tools and frameworks now exist to assess the use of evidence in policymaking, practitioners still face significant challenges in measuring their impact. These include the long-term nature of policy influence, misalignment with shorter project timelines, and frequent turnover among decision-makers.

To address this, the LEEPS Africa partnership will host a webinar to explore how knowledge brokering organizations understand, assess, and demonstrate the impact of their work on evidence-informed policymaking (EIP).
